Privacy Policy

The BMLL websites and services are provided by BMLL Technologies Inc. (“BMLL,” “we,” “us” or “our”). BMLL knows that you care how information about you is used and shared, and we appreciate your trust that we will do so carefully and sensibly. This notice describes our privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) for any website (including but not limited to bmlltech.com) controlled by BMLL Technologies Inc. (“BMLL” or “we”) on which this Privacy Policy appears (each, a “Website”). Capitalized terms used but not defined in this Privacy Policy shall have the meaning set forth in the Terms and Conditions.

This Privacy Policy covers only information that is collected through a Website and does not cover websites that we do not control.

Notice of information we collect and how we use it

Our primary purpose in collecting Personal Information (as defined below) is to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. This allows us to provide services and features that most likely meet your needs, and to customize our service to make your experience easier. We only collect Personal Information about you that we consider necessary for achieving this purpose. “Personal Information” means information that specifically identifies an individual (such as a name, address, company name, telephone number or e-mail address) or other information about that individual that is directly linked to Personal Information. Personal Information does not include “aggregate” information, which is data we collect about the use of our Website and our services.

You may browse certain areas of a Website without telling us who you are or revealing any Personal Information about yourself. However, we collect and store information, including Personal Information, that is voluntarily supplied to us by you when registering for a Website. You can choose not to provide us with certain information, but by doing so, you may not be able to take advantage of many Website features and functionality. We use Personal Information to provide, operate, evaluate and improve our Websites; to manage our business; to communicate with Website users about their use of our Websites; and to provide new and enhanced Websites and related services. During registration, you are required to give truthful registration information (such as name and email address) in accordance with our Terms and Conditions available during registration. Once you give us your Personal Information, you are no longer anonymous to us.

When you register as a member, we collect information such as your name, email address, company affiliation, username and password. When you purchase a subscription to one of our Premium Services, we collect information about the Payment Method, such as a credit card number and expiration date.

Information we collect about website visitors

We automatically track certain information based upon your use of a Website. We use this information to do internal research on our users’ demographics, interests, and behavior to better understand and serve you and our community.

By using a Website or our services, you indicate your consent for BMLL and our third party service providers to send cookies to your computer in order to uniquely identify your browser and improve the quality of our services; you may turn off cookies in your browser, though, if you do so, some or all of our services may not work. For a description of how cookies work, please see “Cookies” below.

Log Files. Like many websites, we automatically gather certain information about our Website traffic and store it in log files. This information includes Internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data. We use this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyze trends, to administer the Website, to track users’ movements around the Website and to gather demographic information about our user base. We do not link this automatically collected data to Personal Information.

Cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user’s computer for record-keeping purposes. The acceptance and storage of cookies can be managed through your browser’s security settings. We use cookies on our Websites. We do not link the information we store in cookies to any Personal Information you submit while on our Websites that specifically identifies you. We use both session ID and persistent cookies. A session ID cookie expires when you close your browser. We may use session cookies to make it easier for you to navigate our Websites. A persistent cookie may remain on your hard drive for an extended period of time. You can remove persistent cookies by following directions provided in your Internet browser’s “help” file. We may set a persistent cookie to store your password so you do not have to enter it more than once. Persistent cookies also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our Website. If you reject cookies, you may still use our Websites, but your ability to use some areas of our Websites may be limited. Some of our third party service providers may use log files and cookies to track information about visitors to a Website in the aggregate. These services capture usage and volume statistics. For example, we use Google Analytics for the purposes discussed above. We have no access to or control over cookies used on third party websites or links.

Clear Gifs (Web Beacons/Web Bugs). We employ a software technology called clear gifs, also referred to as web beacons, that help manage content on a Website by tracking what content is effective. Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of Web users. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a user’s computer hard drive, clear gifs are embedded invisibly on Web pages and are about the size of the period at the end of this sentence. We do not tie the information gathered by clear gifs to our users’ Personal Information. We use clear gifs in our HTML-based emails to let us know which emails recipients have opened. This allows us to gauge the effectiveness of certain communications and the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. If you would like to opt-out of these emails, please see “Choice and Opt-out” below.

Embedded Scripts. We use Embedded Scripts, which are programming code that collects information about your interactions with a Website, such as the links you click on. The code is temporarily downloaded onto your computer or other device from our server or a third party provider and is deactivated or deleted when you disconnect from a Website. In addition, we may use a variety of other technologies that collect similar information for security and fraud detection purposes.

Mobile Use. If you visit our Website on a mobile device, we may collect information about your device type, which we use to improve the quality of our services. Use of a Website on a mobile device may allow your mobile carrier or other access provider to view data that appears on the device.

Information we collect to respond to your choices and requests

Registration. In order to use some Website features, you must first complete the registration form and create a user name and password. During registration you are required to give truthful registration information (such as name and email address) in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. We may use this information to contact you about the services on our Website in which you have expressed interest.

Premium Services. If you subscribe to one of our Premium Services, we will request certain additional Personal Information from you on our registration form. You must provide Payment Method information (such as a credit card number and expiration date). Although we collect this Payment Method information, we do not store it ourselves. We provide this Payment Method information in encrypted form to a third party online payment service, who may use, retain and disclose such information to process payments for us.

We use this information for billing purposes and to fill your ongoing subscription. If we have trouble processing your subscription request on a monthly basis, we may use your Personal Information to contact you.

To fully use Premium Services, you may need to provide additional information, such as information relating to custom analyses you wish to conduct on a Website. We collect this additional information in order to provide you with the Premium Services and do not use such information for other purposes.

User-Provided Content and Other Messages. If you choose to post User-Provided Content, we will collect the information you post. We may use User-Provided Content that you post as described in the Terms and Conditions. We may also retain User-Provided Content as necessary to resolve disputes, provide customer support and troubleshoot problems as permitted by law. If you send us personal correspondence, such as emails or letters, or if other users or third parties send us correspondence about your activities or postings on a Website, we may collect such information into a file specific to you. We reserve the right to terminate the accounts of users who use any Website in a manner inconsistent with the Terms and Conditions.

Sharing. Some Website features may allow you to share information available on the Website with others who may not be Website members. These features may require you to provide email addresses of your intended recipients. We will use these email addresses to email the requested information to the recipients you have chosen, and we may identify you in such emails as a Website user who requested that the information be shared with the recipient.

Communication from us or a website

We may use your name and email address to send you email from time to time for a number of purposes, such as those described below. Out of respect for your privacy, we present the option not to receive many of these types of communications. Please see “Choice and Opt-out” below.

Newsletters. We may send you periodic newsletters and communications that we believe may be of interest to you based on your Website use.

Special Offers. We may occasionally send you information on products, services, special deals, and promotions.

Company News. We may send you press releases and other announcements regarding BMLL and our services.

Service-Related Announcements. We may send you service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so. For instance, we may send you an email if a Website is temporarily suspended for maintenance. Generally, you may not opt out of these communications, which are not promotional in nature. If you do not wish to receive them, you have the option to deactivate your account.

Customer Service. We will communicate with you in response to your inquiries, to provide the services you request, and to manage your account. We will communicate with you by email or telephone, in accordance with your wishes. You may contact customer service at info@bmlltech.com.

Conditions under which we share information

Aggregate Information (Non-Personally Identifiable). We may share aggregated demographic information about our user base and Website use information with third parties, such as our third party service providers. This information does not identify individual users. We may use analyses of this information performed by our third party service providers in order to refine the features we offer on our Websites and to tailor our Websites for certain categories of users. We do not link aggregate user data with any Personal Information that specifically identifies an individual.

Personal Information. Except as discussed in this Privacy Policy, we do not share Personal Information with third parties.

Agents and Service Providers. We use a credit card processing company to bill you for Premium Services, and we send them encrypted Personal Information for this purpose. Your interaction with any other third party payment services, such as PayPal, is subject to the terms and conditions provided by such third party. We use other third parties to provide us with analytical data about the use of our Websites, as described above.

Legal Disclaimer. We reserve the right to disclose your Personal Information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights; to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on us or a Website; or in connection with an actual or proposed corporate transaction or insolvency proceeding involving all or part of our business that uses the Personal Information.

Choice and opt-out

If you no longer wish to receive our newsletters or other communications, if any, you may opt-out of receiving them by following the instructions included in each newsletter or communication, or by emailing us at info@bmlltech.com.

Links to other websites

A Website may contain links to other websites that are not owned or controlled by BMLL. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy policies of such other websites. We encourage you to be aware when you leave a Website and to read the privacy policies of each and every website that collects Personal Information. This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected by our Websites.

Access to personal information

If your Personal Information changes, or if you no longer desire our service, you may correct, update, delete or deactivate it by emailing customer service at info@bmlltech.com.

Information security

The security of your Personal Information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information (such as Payment Method information) on our registration forms, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the Personal Information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. If you have any questions about security on our Websites, you can email us at info@bmlltech.com.

Persons under 18 years of age

Our Websites are not directed to people under 18 years of age. If you become aware that your child has provided us with Personal Information without your consent, please contact us at info@bmlltech.com. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from people under 18. If we become aware that a person under 18 has provided us with Personal Information, we take steps to remove that information and terminate the applicable account.

Please also visit our Terms and Conditions establishing the use, disclaimers, and limitations of liability governing the use of our Websites.

Changes to our Privacy Policy

If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, we will post changes to this Privacy Policy and in other places we deem appropriate so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we disclose it.

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time, and such change will apply with respect to information you provide or your activity on a Website after the change in policy, so please review it frequently. If we make changes that materially affect our uses or disclosures of Personal Information that we have previously collected, we may contact you to obtain your consent to have the changes to our Privacy Policy apply retroactively.
